Zuma Handwoven Brocade Cushion Cover

The quality of the craftsmanship felt in the different textures and techniques used in this cushion are a reminder of the wisdom which is woven into each piece. Using a traditional and intricate brocade technique, this mayan design is hand woven into the soft, natural fabric making it highly durable. Finished by hand at the side seams, the fabric is woven to the required dimensions, so that there is no waste. Mayan communities use crosses and diamonds to reflect the interconnectedness of the four cardinal directions and their relationship to the natural world.
