This throw has been created in the framework of collaboration with the United Nations Development Project, Mexico. A project through a series of workshops and training programmes has helped build sustainable business models for women living in rural indigenous communities.

Handwoven panels are expertly hand embroidered together with love, to create a versatile, neutral piece perfect for any room. This heavyweight cotton throw is ideal for cosying up on the sofa or elegantly draping over the end of a bed.

Craft 65 hours to weave

Size 100 cm x 180 cm 

Material 100% Cotton (OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified)

Care Machine wash cold and gentle and hang dry

Handmade due to the nature of hand loomed goods there may be slight variations between products

ABOUT THE ARTISAN


A small family run business situated in San Baltazar remote village outside of Oaxaca. Modesto works with his wife, sisters, brothers and cousins on a small number of flying shuttle looms where they weave traditional patterns into their light, cotton textiles.
